Welcome to Captured by Karen photography! Karen is a natural light portrait photographer. She is a Grand Junction, Colorado native and lives in Grand Junction with her husband, three kiddos, as well as 4 cats and 2 dogs. Karen was a cast member of the international group, Up With People, which took her around the world as she learned more about different people and cultures. Karen used to be a music teacher and now she performs & accompanies at a nearby middle school when she's not photographing. Karen's dedication to photography evolved out of a love for children - she was inspired the moment she became a mother. Her artistic vision is to capture the spirit, personality, and joy of people with commemorative photography that will last a lifetime.
